It's that time of year when a good part of the country puts their beloved muscle machines away for a few months. But don't kid yourself, you did that knowing the turn signal cancelling cam doesn't work, the transmission pan is leaking even though you've replace the gasket, pan, and transmission, and when you turn the radio on the dome light comes on. So, it's winter, and it's time to fix all that ( except the transmission pan. I'm fully convinced there is no way to fix those <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/thumbsdown.gif).
So what's on your agenda? For me, the biggest thing is what NOT to do and that's buy another project! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif. But other than that, I plan on:
Bee: install engine and trans, headliner, and vinyl top. Ah heck, maybe just finish the car! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif
Mustang: install the new floor, blast the shell, mount on rotisserie.
House: add second story <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif ( just kidding)
How's about you's guys? Post up!
Cheers <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

Oh, nothing much.... work on Ben's '69 Nova, send Danny's 327 out for rebuild, 2 of the 3 Jr Dragsters need engine rebuilds and 1 needs a clutch rebuild, and the golf cart needs both clutches rebuilt. Other than that, nada!!! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif

I have a few small things to do to the Chevelle replacement. I've accumulated some parts, but the has not arrived yet. Today it is between Omaha and Denver.

Finish my HOJ 2000 S10 bracket race project. Started in late June. Moved frame rails in 5 inches per side. Narrowed a 9 inch, built a 4.86 center with spool, used a 70 4.30 drag pack core. Full roller 383. All steel. Should be a low 11 second bracket beater.

Still very much a rookie on the track but going to add the following parts to the car for next year. Hopefully 11 sec. time slip for SCR 20!
Drag racing shocks
Moser axles and C-clip eliminator
New front Springs
Slicks
If there is any money left on the tree.. Skinny Cragar's up front and a fly eye air cleaner! (Grady's car reminded me how much I like that look)
