Cool photo..

That is a very cool photo. My brother did the same thing in our driveway on 1971. He took the engine out of his 69 Chevelle SS, put it on the concrete and tore it down. It was a scene just like this one. Ends up he spun a bearing on the 396. He solved his problem by going to an engine shop and buying a complete 427 out of a wrecked '68 Cleveland police car. No matter what he did to the 427, he could not hurt it. He put a cam, headers and a holley carb on it and tore up the streets with it after that. He had a blast with that car. As I recall, he paid about $300 for the 427 at that time.

Funny, I first looked at the pic and said to myself: "that looks like Marks L-89 Chevelle". Then I read the comments and saw that it was !
I saw i ten years ago when I went to and from the SuperCar Reunion with Mark and Mark.

when I read this I wondered if it was my car.I bought it on a Saturday when I was working it was at a car wash for sale the price was 5,000 I had 3500 on me and he took it.It was really a good car except the engine was shot. I was probably about 30. at time I had about 10 or 12 cars that I would buy and flip but I kept this car all these years Mark
