Milli Vanilli's issue was that they never sang any of their songs to begin with: it was a not-so-photogenic studio musician who did all the vocals. Rob and Fab were picked because they looked the part. Kind of like the old Brady Bunch episode where Greg &quot;fits the suit&quot; so he got to be the new Johnny Bravo.
