I'm looking for someone that has a original Lakewood 3 point roll bar for a 69 to 70 GM A Body that is not installed.
I'm looking for dimensions so that I can make a quality reproduction.

Thanks
Bernhard

Fill out your profile more. Don't know who you are, or where you're from, etc.

Hi Paul

I'm new here, I'm on the Classic Oldsmobile forum and Know a few of the Olds fans from this site.
I added to my profile as well.

I'm building a retro stocker 69 442 post stick car like they ran back in 67-74 NHRA/IHRA factory stock.
I have been collecting period correct parts for the build. As you know the 3 point bars are very rare and are snapped up quickly.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bernhard

I was into 60's and 70's speed parts back in the 80's and 90's when bery few people even cared about these parts..I remember when sellers could not get rid of 3 point roll bars-I would buy them for $15 -25. Bought one for $5 because the guy did not want to drag it home.

Late 80's a guy at a swap meet in Pittsburgh bought out an old speedshop inventory and had maybe 15-20 Lakewood 3 pt roll bar mounting kits for various cars and wanted something like $5 or $10 a box.

Crazy

Not like this now.

Cool history.
Any chance you still have one?
