The research continues on my 67 Camaro - original red on red 396 4 speed car.

NCRS Shippers shows sold May 1967 Lustine Chevrolet Hyattsville Maryland.

Originally titled in 1967 at VIRGINIA

Later titled in 1968 back at MARYLAND.

UPDATED INFO = No info from 1968 up to where it was purchased by a Gentleman in 1979 at PORTLAND OREGON where it spent some time in the PORTLAND / SALEM area of OREGON before heading out to ONTARIO OREGON in 1981.

Around 1982 it went to EVERETT WASHINGTON where it was in the SEATTLE / EVERETT area of WASHINGTON before it headed south in 1985 to FAIRFIELD CA where it was stored in the region until I purchased it in 2007 after the owner from 1979 passed away.

Is there anyone from these areas around this time that may remember the car?? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2017/01/full-18624-57087-full_1805_12844_aaaaa.jpg

I was doing a lot of drag racing and street racing in the Seattle/Everett area in the 1986-1990 timeframe, but I don't recall seeing this car. Good luck.

Man that would have looked sweet back in the day with those wheels and the slapper bars. I need to find a 67 like that.

What are your plans for it? Restore or just fixin it up a bit?

SeattleCarGuy - thanks for the response.

My car had move to CA by 1985 so the dates you were racing was after the car had left.

Do you know any other guys who were around earlier?

NorCam - Thanks for your response.

Yeah I agree it would have been a nice rig being red with white bumble bee and pin stripes , along with red trim and RS front and chrome trim. The mods done were probably typical of the era.

Plan is to do full restore either back to as new or if I can dig up some more info on its history may restore back to the look you see in the pic.

I showed the pic to a buddy who was racing years before me, but sorry, he didn't remember it. Lots of cars and lots of time has gone by. Good luck.
