.... If you are at a swap meet and see a 1969 Camaro grey grill....

Originals were molded using a bone (white) colored material.

I Have a broken section I use for repairs, they are gray as can be .

Factory installed grills were molded in white then painted argent silver. At some point the NOS grills were molded in a white or gray color. That goes for a lot of molded plastic parts for different cars.

I thought someone was repopping grilles in whitish plastic.

Posting the below pictures of a factory installed 69 Camaro grill section that was in a car painted Burgundy. I have another used, complete grill and it is the same plastic, GRAY.
Over the years I keep hearing the term &quot;bone white plastic&quot; ? I sure would like to see some photos of that grill, and maybe a broken section or a clean spot on the bottom that has been scraped clean of any oxidation like the one photo below. Could the oxidation be interpreted as &quot;bone white&quot; ? Comments ?
