Correct "Day-2" color for Ansen Bellhousing

Guys,
any ideas out there on what is the correct "day-2" color for this Ansen
2-piece Bellhousing?
I'm leaning toward a dark red but have considered chevy orange and flat black also. I'll be installing this in my 69 Chevelle.

They likely match the bars in color, but who knows.

That is an old picture. I sold one set to Dan R in Chicago and the other to Fred E. So only have one set.

Not sure how to male them fit my 65, so I'll probably have to buy a Nova.
