I have a windshield! And many other parts. I need that car Dan?! I would gladly buy this if someone will take my 76 Pontiac Astre off my hands?

Is that 1,369 miles or has the odometer rolled over once? Cool car.

You at least have to give GM some credit for building that car. 1974 up into the early 80's was such a challenge for carmakers to make any kind of performance vehicle.

That is a great buy for a complete car. I might be interested if I hadn't just bought the Opel GT.

Lynn, I agree. If you look at the genesis behind the cosworth you really get an appreciation to what GM was trying to do. The motor was originally designed for 200+hp but wonderful de- tuning ultimately brought it way down. Slow sales, price just 600 less than a Vette really hurt it chances. I have a survivor w 308 miles, just a really cool under appreciated car

If a guy didn't mind tinkering a bit, I am betting modern fuel management and you get decent power and mileage.

I would take this 10x over a 76 Corvette, which I personally beleive is the LOW watermark for Corvettes. What a turd. (apogogies to anyone that has one).

Only thing that really turns me off are the giant 70's bumpers. Just like 70's Bimmers on into the 80's.
Surely someone has come up with a bumper alternative to the aluminum picnic table.

Still, great car for the $$$$. It IS a piece of history. There was hardly any attempt at performance in 1976.
