----Woj, I really like the look of the rolled tips, but am unsure about the timing production wise. I like them enough to install on my new toy, but don't know if it would be correct. The COPO was built in June 69. What are your thoughts?.....Bill S

Bill,

I know these were used in early production. I don't know if they made it as far as the beginning of the COPO production. I'm sure someone here has a decent idea of the timing.

My 69 Chevelle convertible was built in Kansas City early January and it still has the original exhaust tips on it.....the non-rolled type.

Believe your COPO was built too late for em Bill S.

I have not seen any of these installed from the factory on any car built after mid December 68. Any original sets I have had in the past were welded to the exhaust pipes. So these could of been NOS back in the day which I have never seen or the repops the were made in the 90s which were nice.
Just going off my experience, not to be written in stone.
