I was assisting the Northern Ohio Chevelle Club with our club display at the Cleveland IX Center the last two days...Today all of the show cars were moved into the building. This is the old Cleveland Auto Rama Show. I took some "sneak peek" pictures today. The show actually starts tomorrow evening and runs through Sunday... The Chevelle club did a drive in movie theme..
Enjoy... Rich
Up First, Our own Albert's AWESOME 69 300!! Thanks Albert for making the hike from Jersey to our show!!

Tons of nice cars. That red '69 Camaro and Albert's Chevelle (amongst many others) look fantastic. Yeah, I was curious also about the wood blocks under the front wheels of the Chevelles.

The wood blocks are to simulate the look of the elevated front ends on the cars at the old drive inns. When you would pull into your parking space they were elevated for the front ends of the cars to be up for screen viewing..
I asked the same thing when we were setting up... LOL...

Dave, I just chose not to bring my Chevelle to the show this year. It was there a couple years back and won a first place award. I figure once is enough, let someone else win..

Great Coverage Rich. That looks like a really nice show. Love the diversity. Congrats to all the guys here who took home the awards, and cudos to the Chevelle Club on another impressive display.
The Anglia of Brian Spotts' isn't just a show car. Here's a shot of it at Bowling Green last October during the NDRL Finals at the GoodGuys Nostalgia Meet, ......... this time with REAL tire smoke.

The club display was that of a drive-in movie theater. We made the blocks to raise the front ends like some of the drive-ins had back in the day. We had the speakers on the driver's windows as well, after the show started.
