It looks like the white drag car with Cars Magazine sponsorship started out as a gold 327 car. I guess that explains why it doesn't have an SS gas cap but has big block emblems on the side when painted white.
there are some pics of it when it was first built and raced
it was gold and had different emblems

After an accident at Islip Speedway, Joel Rosen sold the Cobra and it pretty much disappeared. He kept no Vin# or sales info. It's probably out there somewhere!
Would Joel be able to identify it if it did appear one day?

It would be worth a lot of money. It started out as a real Shelby Cobra, held national records, had lots of exposure.
