No docs but looks like a real decent project car and maybe worth checking out in Tennessee.

This guy should be put in touch with DW Cook. He is in Tn. And he could further authenticate this with some key Z specifics he knows to look for. :scholar::scholar::scholar:

Bentley, that ain't a half bad idea. Darrell does know his stuff, that's for sure. Proving it to have z specifics would only increase its value.

I looked at it yesterday. Nothing identifies the car as a true Z. But if someone were looking for a nice body this car would fit the bill. All NOS GM sheet metal and the quality of the body work is very good. NOS rad support, cowl hood and one fender included. The header panel and lower valance are in primer but I would not doubt they are new GM pieces as well. New repo tach and NOS console gauges included. Has a date coded block (ME code), 291 heads and a 610 intake. Has a date correct M20 with no VIN #.

Did the seller have a firm asking price that he discussed?

Did not discuss specifics but I seem to recall he said his reserve was around 16K.
