I bought a fuel filter from them for my 396. A lot cheaper than everywhere else, but I think it might have been a second NOS part. The print seemed to be off. It might have been from just sitting on a shelf for 40 years too. It was perfect for my needs though.
What are we supposed to be looking @?
I click on that link and get generic text.

Well! That stinks - I copied the link to an NOS 40727 AC logo fuel pump, but you are correct in that the link doesn't take you to the specific item! Perhaps I did it wrong...

Bob is a good guy he buys NOS at the swap meets around here plus buys out collections all over the US. I've dealt with him for years selling him large quantities of parts before.

Yea, I thought the price was pretty good as well, and the stamping looked legit....
Although nice,a Non AC logo, not assembly line used,Generic $20 remanufactured fuel pump is not what I thought this topic would be about.:hmmm:
Where do you see the part # stamping on it?

The one I was trying to link is now gone. It had the AC logo, and 40727 was stamped into the mounting flange. Price was good at $125. Somebody got it quick!

The fuel pump might be gone, but if you look at the site he posted you'll see it's an outstanding source for reasonably priced NOS parts.

That makes more sense. I was surprised when I searched the part number and saw a generic part. Hopefully someone here got the real deal one. Thanks for the head up Marlin.
