67 has no latch handle as I recall.

I did talk to the guy who has the seat. It's from a 68 and has the latch. It will need a complete restoration to use. Are the actual seat frames the same 67 and 68? Im not familiar with the latch and where its at and if it can be removed to use in the 67?

The upper back seat of a 68 is slightly different in appearance than the 67. The 68 has a slight indentation to the seat on the passenger side where the striker post is mounted to the upper seat. The 67 did not use the striker post/latch assembly to secure the seat in the upright position. If you know what to look for the two seats are noticeably different in appearance.
