Here's a drone video of Riverside National Cemetery where my wife Lynn's dad and mom are interred. It's very moving...:flag:

And here's a video that explains what each fold of the flag represents...it's very interesting:

We give respect, honor and thanks to ALL that have served in our armed forces, so that we can live in a great country like the USA!
We proudly display Lynn's grandfathers and Lynn's father's flags, too.

Every veteran deserves our thanks and respect...I try to keep that in mind every day of the year, not just on special holidays.
Lest we forget..

I'm remembering my late grandfather, a WWII Navy veteran assigned to the destroyer, USS Brinkley Bass. He was once personally praised by Gen. MacArthur for how well he maintained his area of the ship. RIP William Neil McDonald.

Today I gave respect to those that lost their lives serving my Country, in war and peace, and especially those that I served with. No barbecue....a few beers and recalling the good times.

My Dad passed in November last year and his Military (Army) marker showed up today and is now properly installed at his feet. I couldn't think of a better day of the year for it to have shown up.
