This 1969 Chevelle was a California car and retains all its original body panels, floors and trunk pan . The Chevelle received a complete frame off rotisserie restoration to be built as close to a Baldwin Motion Chevelle as possible.
The body as stated earlier retains all original sheet metal, floors and trunk pan. A correct stinger hood which had many of thousands of dollars work done to it to make it perfect was added. The body had many hours of block sanding to make it straight as a arrow there are no ripples in the mirror finish black paint. Then it received the red Motion stripes. All new Chrome and trim was added to finish it off. The paint job on a scale of 10 is a 10.
The drivetrain is a period correct 4 bolt main 427 engine which was totally blueprinted and balanced. The heads are correct rectangular port heads. The intake is a Edelbrock 427X. The headers were ceramic coated and run into thrush side pipes and also cut offs that can be unbolted. The ignition is a complete Mallory setup all the aftermarket parts are period correct. The transmission is a rebuilt M-21 with a hurst shifter and centerforce clutch and a 12 bolt posi rear end with ladder bars and a driveshaft safety loop.
The all new black bucket seat with console interior is in ec. It would be hard to duplicate this car for less than 100k if you wanted to have someone build it for you. I have many pictures of the car if interested. Email me at [email protected]
If I remember right there was a thread on this car when Greg and Dan were building this Chevelle.
Price is 65K call John 630 333 8333

Yes, indeed.....she is a great '69 Chevelle.....this was a fun build and project. This Chevelle is super fun and gets all the looks. Just as John said.....This Chevelle is one of the cleanest, rust free Chevelle`s that I have ever seen. I found this Chevelle in California. It was a California car, its entire life.....then shipped to Missouri where Greg and I built it for the current owner. Some of you may remember seeing this Chevelle at MCACN, it was there twice.

GLWS.....Someone will get a very neat Chevelle.

Here is the build....

Will you guarantee that your Phase III will turn at least 120 mph in 11.50 seconds or better in the quarter?
Nice build... GLWS!
