Just taking apart this 67 4K car and noticed the "B" inspection stamp on the firewall. I generally see these prominently stamped on both sides of the firewall during restoration. This original is stamped under the fender.

Bruce very common to see this on 67 Camaro, on Grady's red car we found 3 on the driver side.

Yup, my 67 had all three on both sides. Can't see them once it's back together!

I didn't know that 67 stamps were commonly hidden under there - haven't restored a 67 in a long time!

My 06A 67 only has a P stamping on the lower portion underneath the lower door hinge next to the tulip

I finally got all of the dirt off of the tulip panels. More PTB stamps showed up!

Also - question - the trim tag has white paint under the black. What was the factory firewall paint sequence in 67? Should factory black be over the white on the tag?

I did a 67 that all three were under the heater cover on the firewall. Never in sight

This image may be helpful. This is a close up of a Norwood 1967 Camaro on the build truck coming over to body drop. This photo is also featured in the book.

Thanks Mike - obviously, someone has painted over mine. Also, the original firewall paint (behind the heater box - original heater core still in place) looks to be about 60% gloss. A lot more gloss than I would have expected.

Yes, very much on the gloss side. I have noticed the same under the heater box cover. You can't always go by what is in a book :D

My 67 Z only had a "P" Stamp on the left side front just below the lower door hinge mount, behind the tulip.
