Has anyone used the stuff heartbeat sells if so how did it turn out trying to find the most accurate product that the average guy can pull off

Don't know who makes it or what it looks like.

If you can still get the stuff John Berlage makes, I think it is as good as you are going to do. You have to shoot it with a Shutz gun for the right effect.

You can buy direct from John (at least you could a few years ago) but you can also buy from original parts group.
In post no. 8 in the 2004 thread, Steve gave this as the contact: 563-588-0536. He is also listed in hemmings
