Pretty cool. For those who aren't familiar with the GM Design complex, those photos were taken in the design studios, on the patio, and in the design auditorium, a.k.a. "the dome."

Actually this post should read that the 67 Camaro was designed off the 68 Nova. The redesign of the Nova started in 1964 and when the idea of the Camaro came along the engineers decided to base it on the upcoming Nova platform.

First there was the 1964 Super Nova concept car
Next came the XP-836 clay models
Then came the Panther
Finally - the Camaro
That is the order of how the 1967 Camaro came into production.

Here is a 1965 photo of the 68 Corvette in early design phase (still EXTREMELY heavy Bill Mitchell influence) with the 67 Camaro close in design...
I kinda like the round tail lights in the first gen, though the tail looks over grown corvair.
