1974 Trans am 455 SD, GM of Canada Documented Numbers match car. Red with Black. Auto, A/C. Tilt, PW and more.

This car requires a restoration and engine and transmission are out of the car. All original Drive train including Engine, Transmission and Differential. The numbers matching short block has been rebuilt and is wrapped in plastic. Heads were rebuilt at one time.

Original Carb, Intake, Heads, Alternator, EGR valve, Valve covers and more.

Distributor is not original, no camshaft, has headers but have a new set of reproduction exhaust manifolds from Ram Air Restorations, These were purchased in 2006. The dash pad has a crack on the passenger side, but the package on the roof in some pictures is a very nice original black dashpad that comes with the car.

I am in no way a Pontiac expert, this is the only Pontiac I have ever owned. Reply with questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Car is located in Calgary Alberta Canada.

$28,500 US.

I'm guessing the car has had one repaint?
If so---
Is there any rust repair in the quarters?
Are the frame rails solid?

I think that is a fair price, distributor is a bummer.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Here they are, assorted pictures of the Trans Am SD. The car had 1/2 quarter panels installed many years ago, now bubbling around where the filler was towards the rear. 1 repaint.

If that is a lot of nasty rust to you, you should see the cars from eastern Canada. Here are some more pictures.

Looks like a pretty clean car to me and very little rust from anything I see there. Great car for the Pontiac SD collector. Somewhere just down the road from me too by the looks of it?

Looks like a great way to get into a numbers matching SD 455 project car at an affordable price if you can do some of your own work. Suggest posting on a Pontiac site as well. GLWS.

After talking to numerous people about this car I have found that there are 2 issues that come up in every conversation.

First one is that the car does not come with the original distributor and the second is the distance, especially from Ohio, where I have had 3 responses from including a cost factor of shipping.

Due to this I have decided to lower the price to $26,000 to help with shipping costs and not having the original distributor. Hopefully this helps buyers and is a fair price drop. Thanks

After looking the car over we found rust at the back of the frame rails and area so I am reducing the price because of the amount of work it will takes to repair. I have decided to adjust the price down to $25,000.
I am buying a 69 Pace car now so I will need the room. Thanks.

So I guess my eyes aren't as bad as you all thought!

I think 25K is a very fair price for this car .... Love the Canadian docs. We may actually be interested, will be talking with Kenny.

the price is very fair to get into a rare car, do the work yourself. value of these cars have taken a hit, 60-80k done. But i would bet not many with original drivetrain and docs to prove. A high end restoration could bring the value to 100k plus. jmho.

Hello, I have made a deal with a local guy here in Calgary, but I am not sure he is keeping the car or re-selling it. I could ask him and get back to you if you like.
