I'm looking for a 1969 Camaro/Firebird gas tank dated 2 70. Thank you, Joe

I don't think you're going to find and original tank for a 69 with that date my 69Z was one of the last ones made 11A and the date stamped on it was 9 9

The one out of my 08A built 69 Z was dated 1 70.
GM considered August the first month in the next year's model build. True, most parts are dated the actual year made, gas tanks are an exception.

I will have to look at mine after I got all of the undercoating off it had a big ink stamp with the name of the steel company and the date

Very interesting info. I guess after all these years you can still learn something new about these cars. I would have never thought this was possible.
