Amen to that. Sometimes I think that is more of a sacrifice than those that gave their lives.

I will never and can never forget.... I was scheduled to be in the towers on the 22nd. We ended up spending the next 7 months working in 20 Broad st.which is the offices for the NYSE which is in 18 Broad st. We had to renovate one of the empty floors for all of the lawyers that worked for the exchange in the towers. When we came up out of the subway it was like we were in a war zone. I will never forget seeing the buildings covered in white soot and the smell ... The smell still exists inside of the wide open area of the museum. I know i am not crazy because my dad smelled it as well and he was never with me in the city. It was one of the worst times of my life... and it could have been the end ...
