"1970 W-30 Post 4 speed one of 142.

I want to say thanks to John Hoer for finding and helping me to acquire this W-30.

I swore off all project cars.......but couldn't resist this one.

Only 3,100 total W-30s produced in 1970 with only 142 4 speed Sport Coupes / Post Sedans.

The Black / Black with gold stripes is extra Kool, for me.

This W-30 is a low option car.

The 3.91 gear, the console, the radio, SS IIs and that's about it for options.

We have history back to the original dealership / owner as well as every subsequent owner. I am the 4th owner. Car traveled 75,000 miles and lead a hard life.

The car doesn't look like this today unfortunately, but here it is with the original owner soon after it rolled off the show room floor."

Another project I thought I would get to, but need space. It is for sale or trade up for complete running driving vehicle.

Has Olds POP, but no original drivetrain and no dealer documentation to verify W-30 Status. I do have the original pictures and an affidavit from all three prior owners to support its authenticity.

Original owner is still alive.

So here is what you get:

1970 W3O Post

Car will need 1/4s and outer wheel wells and some floor work. But underside is mostly solid.

Frame is good.

All disk brake parts are there.

3.91 12 bolt rear with correct W30 code is present.

Rear sway bar and boxed control arms.

Interior needs restored but is complete , but for carpet.

I have good rust free bolt on sheet metal, that I have collected over the years which goes with the car. Fenders, Doors, 442 deck lid. ( no 1/4s).

Core support.

Good bumper cores and pit free brackets.

Original red W-30 fender wells / restorable.

Original Rallye II wheels.

Original 442 radiator and top plate.

1969 cast 455 , 4 speed short block, needs rebuilt.

1970 442 Big valve "E" heads, modified to look like "F" heads. Fresh rebuilt.

Original Hurst 4 speed shifter.

Original OAI Ram Air set up.

The beak up parts value is there, but this W-Machine needs brought back to life and displayed at MCACN along with the original owner, for MCACN X.

$20,000.00 or trade up.

Listed without any of the EXTRA parts. Just the body / frame as a roller with the original components as I got it.

Such a Kool Muscle Car, thanks for helping me out with it.

When you think of the top GM Muscle Car pkgs from 1970, Judges, LS6s, GSXs,.......and you couldn't get them in a Post Sedan, it makes this car extra special, IMO.

With the exploded original 4 speed tunnel, the original pictures and all owner affidavits, I felt real warm and fuzzy about its pedigree.
