Hello folks-
Is there a spot to find production figures/percentages for 69 Nova color combos? I have seen the information for 69 Camaros but have not been able to locate for the Novas. I have what I think may be an odd duck triple blue 69. Glacier roof, yes roof, Dusk body, and bright blue 735 interior.
Thanks for the help as always. You folks have been great guiding me with my new project.

I have two-tone numbers for Novas, but not by color.

While the percentage is still low, Novas with painted roof were not that uncommon. Especially if it was an older buyer. Someone who bought cars in the 50's when two tones were very popular.

1969 Nova:
Paint code: 51-53. RPO 956
Dusk Blue/Glacier Blue
Production: 825 units, 2nd rarest of the two-tone colors.
Does not get granular enough top show combinations of interior colors with exterior colors.
956 Interior by itself was not rare.

Chris, you should bring that car out to the Heartland Nova reunion in June. That's a cool piece.

thanks, but the car is really not show worthy, just going to be a nice cruiser.

Honestly Chris, It is show worthy. A time capsule that I am sure Schonye and Co. would love to see.
Novas get little recognition compared to the camaro and chevelle. You will be surprised with the attention this car will get.

Sammy is right. People would love the survivor look. We had an old survivor 66 with a bullet hole in it. Truly a survivor.

So that causing the question when the car is called a survivor . If I replace the cylinder heads, change the original automatic to a 4 speed, and replace the non-original 10 bolts with a 12 bolt, but keep the original paint, yes original paint, and original interior, yes also original, only 40 k on the car, is it still a survivor? Or am I a butcher?

Not in that case Chris. BUT, I do not think that really matters. Do what you gotta do and you can still tell everyone the body and interior survived from the Willow Run Plant till now.

I may get ol blue to GM Carlisle but that would be the furthest I would cart it. I am going to take some decent pictures and if enough interest will put up on the members rides section.
