Pre X-code car but could be the real deal. I miss those rust-free CA cars.

Looks like 5 leaf rear springs. I'd lean towards it being an LM1 car dressed as a Z

No X Code on LOS cars. The tach looks repop from a distance. Likely a build sheet under the tank.

Repro or not it's an 8,000 rpm tach, wasn't born there.

Let's see the trans and axle stamps. Fuel lines?

I don't think it is a LM1. They had duel fuel lines

Black Grille?

Not uncommon for grilles to be changed over the years.

68 seats or recovered and skipped the headrests? Clearly a repop tach

Just curious, what gives the tach away as being repro?

Axle stamping would be very helpful to know.

An Oct 68 car would have had a 7K tach installed, that is what my Oct 68 Z-28 has. I believe in April or May 69 they switched to an 8K tach for Z-28's.
