We Vintage Certified the car in 2007.We were requested to document the cars originality and condition prior to the planned restoration. At the time it was owned by Steve Sandlin, a great guy may he RIP.

Love it!
I've seen this one a few times. Get better every time. Brian and Joe did a wonderful job restoring it as a 68 Camaro first and then as a Dana car. The only way it should be done...
Good luck!
Dan
So I guess "does it run well?" is a stupid question.
Wow, awesome car. I didn't read the entire original thread, but was the car converted to 427 and sold new, or sold as an SS350 and then brought back to Dana in '69 and converted to 427?

Per Steve Sandlin in the linked thread.
"The story goes that the original owner, Mr Tatilian, wanted a rallye green '68 Camaro and Cormier Chev was reluctant to dealer trade with Dana Chev for the last remaining rallye green Camaro on their lot. [I think rallye green was a Camaro "ONLY" color for Chevrolet in 1968]. Mr Tatilian, with his co-signer, made a deal with Cormier Chev during the summer of 1968, then dropped it at Dana Chev after saving enough to pay-off the bank note and sponsor the 427 conversion in spring of 1969."
