If you are starting a restoration before you do any metalwork or paint work.
Start by making sure that the car had any previous collision damaged properly repaired.
I like to start a build by checking and repairing any damage to the frame and body shell.
The new paints and primer do not like lead so before you start if you are going to use a modern paint system have all the lead melted out.
All replacement panels are not of the same quality careful selection here can save time,money & aggravation.
