Pavilions Cruise 12/16/2017

Rain is in the forecast here in the valley, but it starts tomorrow (Sunday). So today it was mostly cloudy and cool (for us) with temps in the 60's. Might be why attendance at Pavilions was down a bit. But some awesome cars came out for me to shoot. :tongue:

Met up with John W, Sizzler Wayne, Craig, Toby, Lee, Chris P, Dennis and Laura, Bob A, and Larry C. Later on, the Blythes; Bruce, Holly, and Lynn came, and later yet, Patty and Alan, Sue and Charlie, and Bill. Saw Kevin D leaving, so he must have been hiding. :laugh:

Canadian 1966 "Malibu SS". In 1966, Royal Plum was available in Canada. Not sure what the Canadian sales name for the color was. This one is over the top!

See the small red light shining under the console clock. Canadian "brake" light was placed on the console, not the instrument cluster.

That 1966 Malibu SS - the color is called Plum Mist

In 1967 Plum Mist was a Pontiac color and Royal Plum was a Chevrolet color (both code M) Neither were available in 1966 in the states. Not sure why the color was available in Canada in 1966, never heard of this before.
