bought my car in 1996 from the 2nd owner. he got it in 1970 for graduation. the car has 38,000 on it now and still has complete born with drivetrain. rear shocks are gone via air shocks but still has original front shocks. exhaust is gone (was chambered from factory) dist. is a restamp but alternator, starter, carburetor, heads, block are still assembly line parts. I will get more pics and add to the post, winter in Minnesota so I`m hunkered in the bunker until spring.

Also, thanks for posting that Polar White Bear emblem on your tail panel... I've been looking for one of those. Now at least I know what to look for.

Nope I havent really been out much to any car shows. Just too busy, but that will hopefully change. I would love to go to that. Funny cause my car also needs brake work.
You got a great car. Real 10/10 are not common and I would love to see it in person.

Helmut, the dealer is still open. I could check but doubt they would have anything from back in the day like the emblem but could check for you. there close by me. I called them about 6-7 years ago and asked about invoices for the car or any info but they said any records like that are long gone. I did get my report from the NCRS and the dealer is listed on the report.

Very nice looking Z, what headers are you running? Also does it still have the reverse lockout with the headers ?
Thanks Rob

I`m running Hooker Competition ceramic coated. I don`t currently have the reverse linkage hooked up. I need the clips and any bushings to hook it up. Mine was gone when I bought the car so I got a repo rod. Looks like it will fit but need to instal to be sure. It`s all there except the rod and clips to hold it on.
I have a late 69 distributor. NOS never been in an engine
