Is this a BB or SB? What's the difference? I don’t see any markings on anything.

Sb, 1/2 inch, bb is longer (9 1/2”)

wonder why the bolt is in the hole where the plastic plug went. Did they eventually use a bolt there?

that is suppose to be a grease fitting

Mine never had a fitting. Just the plug. Also must not have been clear in the phospate tank!
