Not sure what that speaker fits but it is not correct for any 70-72 Chevelle as far as I know.
Might want to research that a little more. 70-72 Chevelle dash speakers are 6X9 .

Looks like a rear speaker for a station wagon.

Talked to the guy I got it from said it was the center speaker in his 70 Elcamino
