A guy near me still owns his 69 SS 396 Camaro he bought new at Kenny Ross Chevrolet Pittsburgh . Rare special order color-Omaha orange. Owner is working on the interior and plans to have the car out this spring after a long hibernation. No..it is not for sale..the car is going to his son.
Owner repainted the car in 1975 out of a little garage and the paint is still like new.
Notice is being tow bared by a GTO going to Pittsburgh International Dragway.

Awesome pics of the car, and one in front of a Studebaker dealership! Just how they were Day2'd back in the day...priceless.

bad ass looking... Loving the day two stuff more and more. Looks a lot like my old Z16 was when we got it in the 70's. Same intake/carb/valvecovers

That car is absolutely gorgeous! I'm not a big fan of aluminum slots but they look perfect with the side pipes. Congrats to your friend and his son.

Isn’t Omaha Orange the color that Dana Chevrolet often painted their cars?

According to Moparts, Omaha Orange is a non metallic color, while Vitamin C is a metallic color.
Omaha Orange was/is used on many states Highway dept. service vehicles too.

A friend of mine's dad had an LT-1 paint with the same red white and blue. He built it around at the time of the bi-centennial
