Found out the reproduction speedometer cable clips for 4-speed Muncie equipped cars are terrible - long shot but hoping someone can help out with 2 original clips they'd be willing to part with?

Please PM me if you can help - am in Australia so you'd need to be willing to post via USPS and get payment via PayPal F&F.
Thanks Steve and sYc!
As you figured out, they are horrible at best. Those are a real tough find. Took me several years to come up with a pair. Best of luck on your search.
They did come on other GM cars as well. If you can find a 4 door Nova being parted out, there is always a chance of finding one. Most of the really old boneyards with late 60's iron are either gone or completely picked over.

Thanks Lynn, know it won't be easy but figured if anyone has one available, it'd be the great members here!
The AIM calls for three on a 69 Camaro four speed, but I think the consensus is that most cars only received two. I know my car didn't even have a hole for a third one.
So, is a "set" two, or three clips?

I have seen original cars with 2 clips and some with 3 clips. But mostly 2 clips. $300 for a set of clips is steep. Jim at HBC had some original clips available for $75 each...you should call

All the originals cars that I have seen only had 2 clips

You can reshape the repro clips and form the end into crescent shape. Dolly it around a bolt to reshape it and they work just fine. Of course if you can find originals you got it made, but that's getting harder to do now days.

My question is once these are popped out of their original holes are they ever the same when you put them back in their original hole?? My car only has one original clip remaining.

If you are gentle with them and use some good pliers they will spread open just fine
