Sweet car, would only be better with some 15" Minilites and a 4-speed. I'd have those wheels on Craigslist within an hour of getting it home...just not the right look for THIS car IMO.

That's a very cool car, color combo and drive line make it rare too.

Looks like it was originally painted red, not black. I was not aware you could get the 400 without the Formula or TA package.

Too funny as I was thinking the exact same thing a moment before reading your words Tony.

Hells Bells. Even the door jambs are still red!
Can't imagine a color change without painting the jambs.

I like the way it's advertised as PHS documented, yet show everything else, but the PHS.
I guess they mean the PHS documents it as a real Pontiac.

Yes, it was a 2 bbl. engine with the #11 heads. It is fairly rare. the only way to get a 400 4bbl. was opt up for the Formula or the T/A - then you got a 12-bolt rear too.

Damn missed that, losing my touch.
I'd still drive it without shame, surprising how good that looks actually.
In 1970 you got a 12 bolt if it had a 400 in it, regardless of model - as this one does. Unfortunately in all likelihood an open rear. Such a waste of a carrier. ;)
