Anyone have a newer Camaro with the V-6 here?

I need a back and forth to work ride and the 2017 Camaro's with the V-6 are dirt cheap right now so thought of getting one of those, plus the wife wants a convertible so I was thinking I could kill two birds with one stone.

What are your thoughts on the V-6?

I just got a 2016 with 8000 miles. Car has great response for a six cylinder ride is a little stiff but handles great

Thanks. No issues so far? Is the V-6 enough for that heavy a car?

That car feels as fast as these old muscle cars

0-60. 5.1 seconds
1/4 mile 13.6

I have driven a couple of them plenty fast!

2012 Camaro RS with the LFX 3.6 V6. Has no problem with acceleration. My car is heavier than the 2017's.

My only problem is Honda Accord drivers and minivan drivers most always want to race. :rolleyes2: :3gears:

Wow, that blue is beautiful. So I pulled the trigger on a silver 2017 convertible with the RS package and so far we love it. The wife really wanted a convertible and I needed a reliable commuter so now I have another silver/black Camaro.

And it's funny, the last time I stopped in Bradenton other than to get gas was to buy ANOTHER silver/black convertible, a 1999 Vette. So weird that I can't get away from that color combination.

Thanks guys. Honestly, for the amount of vehicle you're getting, they are hard to pass up for a guy who's, ummmmm, how do you say, frugal? Yeah, that's me.

It's a 2017, V6 RS with 19,800 miles, CPO, orig sticker $38.5K and I ended up getting it for $21,300. Honestly, I couldn't pass one up. I originally wanted a red one, but this one was the right deal at the right time and the right place.
