I have very nice pair (527 / 826 Exhaust Manifolds) used on factory 4spd cars, like the Z28 and SS Camaro. Manifolds dated in this time frame are tough to find. The 527 is dated B 17 9 and the 827 is dated A 30 9. These manifolds are bolt on ready and have a coat of cast iron gray made by Xtreme Temperature Coating.
The threads for the Smog Tubes are in excellent condition and both manifolds still retain the original studs, which are also in great shape. I had these glass beaded before coating them and found a crack on 826 manifold, which was professionally repaired by a local fabrication shop. The shop nickel welded the manifold, which is the proper way of welding cast metal.
This is a known problem that the naked eye sometimes can't detect until they are blasted, which was the case with this one. Either way it was properly repaired and looks nice. However, I wanted to mention and or disclose so the potential buyer is aware.
Sold
I also have a late set of 69 Smog Manifolds for a Z/28 or SS, which have pitting $750.00 + the ride.
