Neat car with great colors, motor is locked and needs some frame repair. I'm not a Vette guy so I don't know how much work a frame repair would be on one of these cars....

One of the best Corvette restorers around today said something to me that really hit home. He brought a car to the San Antonio Nationals last summer that scored 100%.
His words were "The restoration doesn't know if the car is a big block or small block". With that in mind, this car would need every bit of $100,000 in work. There's a gorgeous L79 for sale in Houston now that is a multiple Top Flight car, it is also a green/white L79 with five original bolt on wheels. It hasn't sold at $89,000 and it's been on ebay multiple times.

----Tim,,, I was about to say basicly the same thing. This car properly restored is probably worth $70,000 on a good day. Starting with a cost of over 30 grand just plain doesn't work, period! Priced below $30,000 and a good do-it-yourself guy could make a case for it if he has nothing else to do. It does appear to have most all of its important parts......Bill S

that frame is junk. someone might be disappointed when they get it on a lift.
It's sad to say but some cars could be given away and the next person would be upside-down in a restoration.
