Not car related, but I cleaned the vinyl siding on my home today. I used a new product from Mr. Clean called their outdoor cleaner which is in a blue bottle and covers 4,500 square feet per bottle.

All you do is attach the garden house, spray it on, let it set for about ten minutes and then rinse it off. The trick is letting it sit like the directions indicate.

It did an excellent job. I was really impressed how it dissolved and rinsed away the dirt on the siding with no scrubbing. It will not hurt the grass or plants either. An employee of Lowes turned me on to it. It goes for $9.99 a bottle at Lowes or just under 9 bucks a bottle at Wal Mart..

Just thought I would share.. I'm always trying different cleaning products to see what works best..

Rich,

Sounds like a great product...I always used spray 9 to spot clean but to do the whole house

is great! Do you know if safe for pets? I have a Yellow Lab that likes to play out doors and

wonder if safe for the big guy?

Dave, I would keep the Dog away from the product. It has a bleach based formula and you can smell same in it..

Rich, does that product work for mold? I live in FL and we get a black mold on some of our walls and metal roofing where the sun doesn't hit regularly and it's really tough to get up there with the pressure washer while standing on a ladder. Thanks, Mark

I get the mold on the north side of my place, T 1 11 wood siding.
I used household bleach diluted about 4 parts water to 1 bleach. , apply with a garden sprayer and let it set wet for a bit. You can see the mold turn brown as soon as you spray it on. Rinse with a hose when done.

Yes, product is supposed to help with mold removal.

Just curious....if it has bleach in it, how does it not harm grass or plants? You would think if it had enough bleach in it to be helpful in cleaning mold, it would have to be bad for living things....maybe the rinsing dilutes it enough to render it harmless :dunno:
