Hi! First time posting. I was browsing the site and saw the list of vin numbers for ZL1 and COPO cars. I question is, is there a list of vin numbers for L89 cars?

Chevelles, Camaros, or both? A few folks track these, but I don't know of an official registry.

Sorry, for a Camaro. There is a registry, but problem is I can’t track down paperwork. It’s a rather long story, but I’ll try to make it as short as possible. I’ll tell it when I get in for the evening.

If anybody would have an idea how to obtain info ,or a JJ code to see if my vin matches. My car was built aug of 68 so there is no x code. The transmission crossmember, heaterbox and motor mounts are definitely big block. Thank you

Probably a long short[although much less than 311 to 1 based on the date ] but the L89 I used to own was restored with a real JJ block w an Aug 68 pad stamp. Was purchased by me around 12 years ago and was in a 55 chevy at the time. Dont recall which part of the country it was from.
