Neat car, currently $0.99 with no reserve but I gather it will go a little beyond the opening bid price ;-)

Great colors, too. I'd rather have an RS but this one looks pretty good to me.

----Not knowing much about 71 Z's I'm wondering about the ten bolt rear, as well as the low spoiler?......Bill S

From what I have seen, the 10 bolt and spoiler are correct for a 71 Z-28.

All Camaros and Firebirds got the 8.5 10 bolt starting in '71 and ran through '81.

The 12 bolt ended in 70...99.9% certain the low spoiler ..should have 3 piece spoiler

The low spoiler was still available thru 71 along with the tall spoiler.

Rick - correct me if I'm wrong, but in 71, the 1-pc spoiler was "standard" for the Z28 and choosing option D-80 got you the 3-pc rear and front spoiler. So from the factory, you could not get the 1-pc and front spoiler.

Steve.. yes that is correct.

In 71 the 4 speed Z/28 should have come with the 12 bolt. I'm going by Nova stats here.
71 Nova SS cars with manual trans. had the 12 bolt. Autos. 8.5 10 bolt.

No 71 Camaro, (or Firebird/ TA for that matter) had a 12 bolt from the factory regardless of performance option package or trans. 100'% across the board 8.5" 10 bolt.

The '71 Nova did not have the 8.5 rear end. That was not used in the Nova until '72. The 8.5 was not used in the Chevelle until '73.
