Is the console supposed to be cut out on the side around the bottom of the shifter like that? I've never seen a console that didn't cover the shifter boot on the floor.

No that would be a huge crack/hole in the console. And don't you just love when Rally wheels are painted body color. Makes me want to throw up!! Neat car and definitely worth $25K IMHO.
