I went to a local car show today and saw this. I felt it was the most unique car there. I like Pontiacs and this thing was just flat out cool.
One owner car. Only 60 ever made. Hurst edition. Bought new at Ray Faro Pontiac in North Ridgeville, Ohio.

No, the owner and wife we're sitting inside the car due to it being cool outside and when I got around to trying to get those pics I didn't want to seem like a creep or creeper by snapping shots while they were in there...
LOL

Does it have a sunroof?
I've got a Harmon Parts catalog advertising their product with Linda in a 1972 Hurst Pontiac SSJ Grand Prix.

No sun roof Rick. Not sure on the horsepower rating.

The owner is an old timer. We talked but I didn't ask about the HP. He did say he wanted to go fast with class and comfort. LOL

Generally the 455 was rated at 250 net.
Lots of mystery surround these cars....some feel more than 60 were built.
I have a GM pic of that car somewhere, it may be from a dealer Album.
At the Pontiac Dealer I worked for we sold 2 SSJ Grand Prixs , but I'll bet we painted at least 20 of them and did emblems to resemble the real ones.
