The flares and spoiler are hard to swallow...but not a terrible start to a Day 2 project if you budget new rear quarters and wheelhouses. Looks like this one was originally Turquoise with a white painted top...neat colors.

I've never seen that spoiler treatment. Not saying I like it, but not saying I don't.

Curious as to what the rear code on that car is.

Sure I've seen that car listed on ebay before, probably within the last few months - remember thinking I wouldn't trust the roll cage, the way it's mounted.

I would be checking this one out in person, if it were a little closer.

I am convinced that this car’s power plant is a high horse (square port) engine.

Looks like a factory 3-speed floor shifter hole, not a 4-speed.

whatta ya figure is going on with the fender holes Boss? 69 T/A extractors?
prob not popular here..but id knock the flairs off..put 1/4s on it and restore it like it is...100%...spoiler..motor...and all..leave the seats...make it safe-er-er
BUT....first id make it run and drive as it is..then id put some aged and distressed Yenko stripes on it..and primer over them..and torture it to the edge of its life...have some fun..then knock the flairs off and put some psychedelic paint on it..and make it look like it drove right out of the 70s..but thats just me.....around here...a primered up 69 would get WAAAY more attention than any trailer queen...promise ya...
to me..it looks more 80s,,but you know what i mean..

Is that because it is slightly forward of the 4 speed hole cut out?

Is that because it is slightly forward of the 4 speed hole cut out?
It is because it has a trapezoidal plate on the top of the hole, whereas a 4 Speed 69 (69 only for sake of this discussion) would have only an oval jagged hole cut with a torch. Seriously.

You know you & I chase the same girls - not a lot of body & paint and geans & a t-shirt are fine with me - dirty, even better. ;)
I'd leave the flairs on, I like the idea of the distressed Yenko stripes or maybe just a Baldwin Motion emblem on the tail panel. Drive it around without a hood, just the way Steve Hoog used to run his 69 GTO. As for the fender holes, I think you nailed it!
