Is paypal now charging 2.99 for every F and F transaction ??

Did you use your credit card or bank account? They will charge you a fee if you use your

credit card account. I don't know if they have changed their policy? My last F & F transaction

was not taxed a fee that I know of, but I used my bank account.

No it was f and f paying by bank account. Then again it was to Canada so maybe thats why?Althouygh ive never seen it before even to canada.

From the article above maybe just a Canada thing although Ive never been charged it before . I do remember taking paypal on an item and there was a 5.00 addition for canada address. The canada guys w us address doesnt get a surcharge.

I have used PayPal F&F recently and the individual receiving the funds was charged 4.5 % surcharge for the transaction. This was true whether I sent the funds from a credit card or direct from my bank account. The transaction was sent from Canada to a US resident.

Might be the exchange rate maybe?

No, not the exchange rate. I think I figured it out. I went to my PayPal account and did some further exploring and found there are two options to send money. One will send it to an individual where there is a surcharge on the receiving end and the other is to send money to Friends and Family where I believe there is no charge.

Im sure it wont be long before they charge for ALL f and f payments.

Can’t really blame them. They are in the business of making money after all. It has been nice while it lasted.

I have sent F & F many times, and recently, F & F does not show on my PayPal page, I send as a gift with no fee.
