Casting # 3841177 these were removed from a 1969 Z-28 Camaro early on when the rear was swapped out for a Dana 60 for drag race duty. Check your parts book these had other applications. All disc brake and Hi Horse F-41 cars got smooth drums in the Rear and low horse 4 wheel drum cars had finned drums on all 4 Wheels. I gleaned some info off the links below.
You see many beautifully restored Chevys with one or both of the knockouts removed. These still retain all of their original knock outs! Also note drum gauge measuring tool, showing to be well within tolerance. So if you have or are currently restoring a Chevy that takes these drums and aspire to make it correct, as it left the factory, these are the ones you need. $300. Plus shipping and insurance.Shipped to the lower 48. PayPal friends and family.

Hey Lloyd, I think I have a pair of no-knock out drums. Let me dig them out and send you photos and first right of refusal.

Cheers, and Happy Canada Day Eve,
Anthony

Not to hijack, but can anyone please explain the 'knockout' detail - were they removed for servicing?

Not to hijack, but can anyone please explain the 'knockout' detail - were they removed for servicing?knockout tab was removed to adjust the geared part that expanded or retracted the drum pads against or away from the drum surface.
