I would estimate between $60K and 70K

EDIT:

Live and learn right? Comparing the description in Post #1 versus the photos posted further down this thread I will cut my estimated price in half. Next time a request for an estimated price appears, I too will wait for photos before posting.

A lot of little things wrong.. Assuming it is in fact born with drivetrain I'd put it in the 28-35K range. Whats the story on the other trim tag you sent? Email me if you would like.

Cool car, has the very early Hurst aftermarket shifter like my L78 does. I think Darrell is dead on with respect to value.

Think this would be a car that you would need to take a good look at. Looks like all bodywork and paint was done in his driveway. No pics of undercarriage, all new brakelines. Looking at the a frames maybe kind of crusty underneath..

Theres still alot of work to be done and even the engine may be tired. I think 25 to 30 at high end.

If you're looking for a good car...I'd keep looking. Lots of things wrong with this car for it supposedly being a Z/28, and not much to like about it from what's seen thus far.

Save your money, there are many cars that are much better than this.

Helmut found this one on ebay. There is a huge difference in price between these. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/253746221384?ul_noapp=true

Not to Hijack this thread, but there is a really nice (I'm no expert) numbers matching 1968 Z28 on New York Craigslist for $33000.00. It's not mine. It's Located in Connecticut. It looks like a good deal to me. Unfortunately, I already have too many cars!

Looks like a nice solid restoration example. Those original 4.56 gears would be fun on the freeway.

If you meant me (Darrell); I never received an email with doc photos. But I would like to see them and add it to my info even if you do not want them posted.

Would be interesting to check it out to see what carb/distributor, etc. it has and if the engine/drivetrain is original. But to give a value a lot more has to be checked out but from sights to date, I'd skip it as others have stated.
