I guess this is a clone-ish of the ex Steve Sandlin RS/ZL1...kinda cool but I'd rather have the real thing.
Anyone know where the real car is today?

That's a clone of ZL1 #55. Steve Sandlin never owned that one.

Notice no cowl induction wiring- flapper door etc, no smog, no rubber bumpers on inside of fenders for hood sides. I was contacted by a guy years ago that bought a ZL1 clone from this guy and it was his worst nightmare. I get the feeling the guy has the ability to build a good car but ends up cutting corners.
ZL1 55 is tucked away in a large private collection.
