Hi Guys - my wife and I have started to think "simplify" - as we approach our 60's and possibly put our house up for sale (we have a 4 bdrm home and it's just the two of us). The kids are grown, blah, blah, blah... you get it.

I've decided to put my 77 Trans Am up for sale... it's pretty much a survivor. 11k miles, orig paint, orig interior, orig exhaust, orig tires included (3 hold air). Untouched W72 400 , 4spd, tilt, AC, AM-FM, PHS Docs, etc. I don't drive and don't see the sense in holding on to it.

Beautiful, I think these are the next big collectible automobiles as this generation is now in their 50's and 60's and with the right investments, has some coin available. I remember seeing Billy Sims, Heisman trophy winner for Oklahoma driving around the campus in 79-80, in one of these.

There are a lot of people who would take that car and put the gold bird and stripes on it instead of leaving it like it is. I think that would be a shame.
