This is a tribute car, it is an original V8 car. I do not know much about its history. It has spent time as a drag car, there are tow tabs welded to the frame, massive upper control arms and it had a fuel cell when I got it(since replaced with a stock tank). When I got it there was a 454 in it, after that flattened a cam lobe I lucked into a CE L72 427/425 that had been in a '66 Corvette. The engine was built in 1970 and has been rebuilt .030 over. Otherwise it is stock as far as I know. I do not know by whom or when the rebuild was done. It does have deep groove pulleys, an MSD HEI distributor, Holley 3310, Hooker 2" headers and Pypes exhaust with an X pipe. The 4 speed is a Muncie M20 originally from a 1970 Nova. It has a Hurst Super Shifter with a longer curved lever. The rear end is a date correct 12 bolt with 3.73 gears and posi. The gear ratio code is correct DM. It has single piston, non-power, disk brakes in front. They stop the car well. The body on the car is just about perfect, very straight, no rust or apparent body damage. Paint is a close match to the original Grotto Blue (D code) in BC/CC. Interior is a mix of original and updates in original blue trim. The front seat is from a later model as it has head rests and fold down arm rest. I have added Morris retracting 3 point seat belts. The odometer reads 78,xxx and I believe that may be pretty accurate based on the cars condition.

I have the car for sale at Cars On Line. There are more pictures, details and contact info there. Give me a call if interested. I am always happy to talk cars

Asking price is $33,000

This is a fun car that runs and drives great. It is one you can enjoy and have fun with without worrying about hurting the value because of mileage. It gets a lot of attention at car shows, always the only one there like it, and lots of thumbs up going down the highway. I got this car as a throwback to an original L72 Biscayne I owned in 1971. I have had my fun with it now and would like to pass it on to a new caretaker.

You can see more about the car and the things I have done with it in the links in my signature.

Thanks for taking a look
