Seller is deservedly proud of this one...and it does look quite nice...but $44k is nice '70-71 Z/28 territory.

Cool car and the Byrne Bros. connection is a plus...and they have all the paperwork, too.
If you look closely at the hi-perf ad you will see the name Jerry Roberts listed as the high performance parts guy. I knew Jerry back in the day...he was a legend at Byrne Bros. When Byrne closed in the early 80's he moved up to TA Byrne Chevrolet in Mt. Kisco [Tim Byrne was Howard Byrne's nephew] The salesman's name [Jim Harte] is also familiar to me, pretty sure he went on to become the General Manager of the store.
Looks like an amazing time capsule...and while the price may seem high by current measurements...16,000 mile hi-perf survivors are not that plentiful, regardless of the price.
I would like to see it in person.

Nice to see another '74 Z pop up. I actually have pictures of it from 2007. I think from ebay back then. Some things have changed since then, some haven't. Kudos for getting the smog system together. While there are a lot of things correct and look unchanged, this car has had some fluffin'. The wheels have been painted the incorrect color (looks like original tires though, same in previous pics). It's difficult to tell if the center caps have the raised emblems or not. The paperwork shows the D88 stripe option, but when you ordered that option it didn't get Z28 emblems or the Z28 sticker on the back tail panel (by the Camaro emblem). Either one could be added after the fact (my car came with stripes and when the OO removed them, he added the emblems). It should not have both. The headlight bezels are painted black where they should be silver. I believe all 74 Camaros had the bullet trim on the signal lights up front. Clock removed and oil pressure gauge put in. Some painting under the hood. Not deal breakers, just thought I'd mention them.

I always loved the look of the hood/trunk graffics on these. Rob

If I was looking for a Sally Rand 74Z, this one really checked my boxes ( for less than half the price)

There has been a lot altered for a 16k mile original car. I think its priced about $20K too high from what I see.

If I remember correctly the previous owner was located in New England (NH or ME. The car is more correct now. I think the asking back then was 30k ish.
